Water Hyacinth is still a problem in our river although great efforts have been made to minimize and dispose it. The residents, organizations, the local government through the DTI paid more attention in eradicating this plant into a resourceful material still control of water hyacinths is one of their objectives. Biological control is employed but more efforts are needed to make the public be aware in the solution of the weed problem.
